As a baby the black plastic cases of films from ORWO used to be the object of my attention. As the years went by, I found myself clicking the shutter of the Minolta Autocord borrowed sometimes from my father. The first 35 mm was a second hand Pentax providing 36 exposures. Eventually I became an ardent fan of Nikon through F80, as I did not had the means to go for the holy grails of those days from Nikon . But then the world was fast changing to digital means and films became hard and costly to procure. Hence, entered the D90 into my life.
Photography transports me to the world of nature, serenity, creativity and diversity. In my own way I try to document nature, places, architecture, culture and people. It is also a way to discover myself. I am always indebted to my first mentor, my father and all other fellow photographers across the globe, whose works I follow with avid interest.
The sound of the shutter is probably of least importance than what goes on before and after it.
